Same, I should have changed majors way back when that was popping off. I could have been a depressed traffic engineer instead of a depressed software “engineer”
So many of my bad decisions back in college due to depression have ended up being correct. I’ve been rewarded for poor life choices (switching from CS to painting, not selling my textbooks, etc.).
None of those are architects of AI.
