Import controls!” China: “Ok then, we’ll keep the EVs, we’ll export fossil fuel cars to you instead.” Nooo! That’s not allowed either! You’re flooding our market with cheap fossil fuel cars!"

“Nooo! Don’t do that! You’re crushing our EV industry! Tariffs! Tariffs! Import controls!”
China: “Ok then, we’ll keep the EVs, we’ll export fossil fuel cars to you instead.”
Nooo! That’s not allowed either! You’re flooding our market with cheap fossil fuel cars!"
