this is gonna happen more and more often. ameriKKKans have a thirst for blood and a fetish for punishment. many older or otherwise bitter people believe they should be able to dish out the maximum amount of punishment against someone for the tiniest transgression
i had seen one of those “scare dumb old people” news stories recently in my local paper. apparently atlanta has a problem with “roving youth gangs ding dong ditching”. i saw multiple comments by exactly who you would expect, retelling stories about how recently some kids tried to do this to them and they came outside with a gun and aimed it at the kids. all the comments in support of this. they framed it like they were “defending themselves”. they painted it as “sure it was just a kid ding dong ditching but it could have been a criminal trying to break into my house!!!”. they’re cowards who hate youth and want to kill children and on top of that they want to be called heroes for it.

You have to realize that this is a safe space for leftists to get away from shitholes like Reddit and Twitter. I don’t want to assume bad faith, but ironically, I think you are overlooking a key material concern, and that is the concerns of the victims.
An extreme, unyielding brutality has been enacted upon the non-white, non-male, non-heterosexual, non-cisgender, non-able bodied, non-neurotypical population, and so, it is only fair that people can, on appropriate occasions, glibly call for the death of some of the worst people on Earth.
Worst, not by their inherent badness, but by their actions - support for blatant imperialist institutions, cosigning or even engaging in oppression against the marginalized and alienated, and overall just aligning themselves more with bourgeoisie or petite bourgeoisie interests rather than proletarian ones.
When the time comes, will there be mass murder? I’d say, probably. In the earliest days of the revolution, when there is chaos and disorder while the revolutionary apparatus tries to assert it’s authority, there will likely be mobs of people enacting a people’s justice. But when order is restored? I doubt there will be many executions. There will be executions, certainty, but I doubt that your average red neck trucker who says “I love Q” on Facebook is being executed by a revolutionary council.
When people call for the death of the oppressor on here, it is a sigh of the oppressed. Sort of like religion. It’s not the “right” way to handle things, sure, but to condemn it is not the correct solution. Like religion, this is a genuine response to capitalism - ineffectual, but originating from the alienated and marginalized.
It is the job of a principled communist / anarchist / whatever title you give to yourself to redirect “Incorrect” or “counterproductive” forms of response to capitalism into more correct and revolutionary forms. By wholesale dismissing it, you act like an antitheist, which sure, it can be correct in some situations, but a complete unilateral and context-unaware anti-theism can often be counter-productive.

Hexbears, while they may individually be apart of an organization, are not, collectively, revolutionaries, but merely sympathizers to the revolutionary cause. The collective of Hexbears, regardless of individual outliers (shoutout to the party members on Hexbear) are leftists, communists, anarchists, whatever, insofar that they agree with the ideology of their choosing and sympathize with actions taken by the revolutionary apparatus of their choosing.
These sentiments are coming from, not an organized revolutionary apparatus that is obligated to be tactical, merciful, or at minimum, adherent to their ideology of choosing, but an angry mass that has complete and utter justification to talk about their disgust and hatred towards the higher reactionary castes. I emphasize talk, because nobody is subscribing to the ideology of “Total Euro-Amerikkkan Genocide” because a Hexbear said that landleeches should be gutted like fish.
If you are a party member, congratulations, and thank you for performing praxis. If you are not, then it’s partially understandable, given the toll that capitalism takes on all of us, and our inability to meaningfully oppose it in some instances. But you should not mistake an angry mass for a revolutionary apparatus. Isn’t vanguardism all about converting an angry, marginalized, and alienated mass towards a revolutionary direction?
And sure, you may not subscribe to vanguardism, but it is still essential to make distinctions between the revolutionary apparatus and the alienated masses. An alienated mass can scream and shout about how they want to disintegrate anyone who’s ever misgendered a person, and while they are valid for having those beliefs due to the aforementioned harm inflicted upon them, in no ways are they capable of, or even realistically supportative, of that mass murder.
Oppressed people say shit, and if all that shit were ennacted in real life, sure, bad things would happen. But that’s why the words “glib,” “off-handed remark,” “in the heat of the moment,” and other such words exist - to signify the difference from a meaningful call to action vs. a frustrated cry against the oppressor castes.
