You can’t debate his commitment to the cause. He started with himself.
Reddit is nuking posts about this.
Of course they are, otherwise people might want the anti-natalism subreddits banned, and that’s where the CIA recruits 90% of their
these days.
Not just anti-natalist, they were an EFILite so they wanted to extinguished all life in existence.
First Anime-American suicide bomber
I read this whole thing and the words “despair is typical of those who do not understand the causes of evil” crashed through the roof and destroyed my fish tank.
I’m not a psycho, but…
A true nihilist would have just killed himself and been done with it. Instead overdose of liberalism and hyper individualism makes people just not want to live, but also make a show of murdering other people, because the “show” puts them and their ego on the center stage.
he shits on nihilism in the (alleged) manifesto
Really didnt have a anime-brainedpoisoned new-athiest anti-natalist carmakazi bomber on my 2025 bingo card.
But here we are.
right wing ideology repackaged into faux concern about the suffering of other people. Could have done a Luigi or Rodney L Hinton but noo, why would you do something that benefits society and maybe improves material conditions or sends a message to the rich elite / their cronies.
This is what happens when a culture doesn’t understand happiness isn’t the end goal of life. Consumerism which promotes idea of earning your happiness through constant self-improvement has its logical conclusion in this idea that all which isn’t happy or striving for happiness through consumption is wasted. This is functionally same ideology as those social media life coaches selling the hustle grindset.
The website says you can download the video of it, but it doesn’t look like the video ever showed up.
Anti-natalism isn’t the problem here, it’s lack of understanding. What does blowing up a fertility clinic really accomplish in the long run.
I say this as an anti-natalist with a pro-mortalist lean. All this person did was increase suffering in the world, for no reason.
There are bad actors in every group, but the vast majority of these people (i.e. antinatalists) do not engage in acts of violence.
Painting them with this brush would be like pointing at parents who abuse their children and then saying that all parents abuse their children. It’s obvious bullshit.
I may not represent the majority opinion for these ideologies, because I don’t spend my free time in these communities, but I’ll try to sum up my thoughts on taking actions informed by this kind of thinking.
Good anti-natalists with any measure of forethought should very quickly come to the conclusion that small scale terrorism doesn’t do anything to solve the crisis of new life, or to reduce suffering- which is supposed to be the goal.
Good pro-mortalists, if given the opportunity to solve all suffering once and for all, should very quickly come to the conclusion that regardless of their thoughts on the bigger questions, it isn’t up to them or anyone else to press that button or turn that key.
Its delusional thinking to believe that just because you know everyone is probably better off dead, other people shouldn’t be allowed to go on suffering, or to bring about another generation of sufferers, if that’s what they choose to do.
If you are heavily pro-mortalist, and you think life would be better off dead; Congratulations, the laws of physics are on your side! Every source of heat and life that has ever existed will inevitably be snuffed out and the universe will just be a bunch of cold little rocks, which will continue to get further and further away from eachother until they’re eventually just little islands of nothing, in an ocean of nothing, screaming off into nothing.
You win in the end, no reason to rush things.
This needs a CW for the ableism buried way deep in the middle of this weird ass manifesto. And many other things actually
I just found out what “elifism” (life spelled backwards) was a few days ago, when somebody mentioned it on the collapse subreddit, now this happens, how weird.
The last paragraph really drives home that this person just led a fucked up and depressing existence, and then, on top of that, a close friend dying/being murdered/suiciding in a clearly confusing arrangement.
I dunno. I don’t feel overly angry at this person, what they’ve done is utterly and truly awful and should never have been done. But I can see how an awful life like that could totally warp your view of the world. I’m extremely mad at our shit society that frequently lets people get to this point without helping them or really giving a shit.
Yeah this was very close to my worldview after a life of trauma, until I slowly shifted towards leftism then Marxism. A sort of reification of mental illness and despair into a quasi-ideology.
It takes more than a nudge for these feelings to develop into a belief system and produce results like this. The West expends so much energy eradicating leftist thought from the culture, giving unmaterialist and destructive ideologies like this an evolutionary advantage. Not to mention how many cases like this are likely enabled/influenced/caused by feds.
I’m mostly just sad.
But I can see how an awful life like that could totally warp your view of the world.
yeah i’m not gonna go bomb a fertility clinic but my life has been predominately suffering and it would be a crime to force someone to live many of our lives.
This is what a few hundred years of capitalism does to people
