‘Hate’ is a strong word, and hatred, in my mind, is an exhausting phenomenon. I almost suggested TIKHistory, but as grating, dishonest and overrated as TIK is, I still wouldn’t unexaggeratedly say that I ‘hate’ him. He is obnoxious sometimes, but he does not inspire visceral reactions in me either.
So if I had to say that I hate any YouTubers, it would be The Amazing Atheist. He is so vile, loud, irrational, and obnoxious that he makes TIK look good by comparison.
Amazing Atheist and ThunderF00t popped into my brain immediately.
Thunderf00t used to be cool when he was dunking on YECs, then he completely lost it over Sarkisian. All the problems he pointed out YECs did, he then turned around and did for feminism. I have no idea how you can have a master’s in physics (maybe even a PhD? I haven’t paid attention) yet be so misogynistic.
It got so bad that even the few fans he had left were begging him to cut back on the Sarkeesian hate. It felt almost compulsive or pathological to him, like he was a jealous ex who was just obsessed with her. Last I heard he was still making content about her a decade after the internet forgot about her.
JFC, still? Yeah he always gave off stalker energy. I’d legit worry for her safety if she was ever in a room with him. His obsession with her is scary.
I think he is less upfront about it now, but as recently as 2020 I think he was still making videos about her.
He popped up on my feed a little while ago because apparently now he makes Elon Musk hate videos about how his businesses are gonna fail.
Ofc I wrote this immediately before reading BelieveRevolt’s comment
MadSeasonShow. I don’t actually hate him, but it’s funny how brainworms work their way into otherwise “normal” people.
He usually covers WoW, but he did a RuneScape series and he was walking around the farmland with peasant NPCs, and he says they have a collectivist society, and just like communist countries in real life, they’re all poor and starving.
And I’m like, dude, they’re clearly using a feudalist mode of production. They’re literally peasants.
This reads like a Monty Python bit
I don’t know why but I’m reminded of that “lady of the lake” thing
This quote specifically (I went and found it to see why it tickled my brain)
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
