India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire after days of military escalation.

US President Donald Trump posted on social media the two nations have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire”.

The countries have also agreed to a broader dialogue on various issues.

For the Pakistani side, it will include the very important issue of water because India has suspended its related treaty with Pakistan, which affects the livelihood and agriculture in this country.

India must have been spooked real bad by the air battle outcomes to go from “we’ll bomb them all” to ceasefire in less than a week.

    • I went out with an Indian lady for years and still have Indian friends (in India) via our relationship with her, and this is of course totally anecdotal, but I was told that the government had hoped for a nationalist response but most people are terrified of ACTUALLY going to war with Pakistan, and men are seriously discussing fleeing to Europe/North America (for the wealthy) or neighboring nations (for the average poor). This isn’t what the Modi regime had hoped for.

Isn’t this how this same conflict has happened before? Don’t they both bluster about a full on war, some people on both sides die or some things get blown up, then they stop because no one’s ready to die in nuclear hellfire just yet? Also cause some intelligence agency from Russia/China points out it was obviously CIA bullshit?
