When tankies will learn that pointing out that liberals don’t learn that pointing out fascist hypocrisy isn’t doing anything to stop fascism ins’t doing anything to stop liberalism?

Fascists love their own hypocrisy. It’s a way to flex their muscle. They are part of the in-group for whom the law protects but does not bind. Hypocrisy allows them to show rules are for other people. Words only have definitions when they come out the mouths of the out-group.

Liberals cling to their decorum and procedures because of some moral superiority. As if the fascists are just misguided simpletons who can be changed by showing them how to behave properly. The liberal thinks the fascist will grow a conscience once the fascist kills enough people.

Seemingly never. I remember after several years of watching Jon Stewart do his shtick long ago, getting frustrated even as a viewer that he and his writers were putting so much effort into simply mocking republicans to literally no discernible effect. It made me realize what a flimsy weapon sarcasm is, on a political scale.

they will not. it allows them to feel as though they aren’t entirely complicit in the centuries-long sequence of events which led to this exact conclusion. this is the basis of almost everything that liberals say and do.

Liberals are a stage of fascists

Liberals are just refined fascists, they hate the aesthetic of fascism that republicans conduct themselves by and that is what truly pisses them off (i.e. orange man loud and bad/stupid).

I like to call this Thornton Melon morality. Melon was the character played by Rodney Dangerfield in the movie Back to School, the wealthy owner of a chain of “Tall & Fat” clothing stores whose motto was “If you want to look thin, you hang out with fat people.” That approach — finding people {they} can compare-down to — might make {them} feel a little better about {them}selves, but it doesn’t change who or what {they} really are.

it actively encourages the fascists. the entire ideology of fascism is ultimately a perverse power fantasy. pointing out that they are hypocrites feeds into that. yes, they know it and you can’t stop them. no matter how contradictory or pointless their actions are you are unable to do anything about it. tell them about it again, lib. they are getting off on it.
