I think they believe it when they say it. Destiny mostly debates right wing people, and obviously the actual left is very marginal so it’s easy to confuse liberals for the left. It doesn’t help that most of the American “leftist” politicians are aoCIA style liberals. They see themselves as the reasonable moderates, while everyone to their left is a childish radical that is too fringe to even constitute a coherent political position alternative to liberalism.

He’s streamed training/raising this dog for years, tens of thousands of hours of content and not one mention of a tems collar ever outside of a single old clip where he says he doesn’t want to use one. It just doesn’t make sense that he’d be able to hide it this long or that he’d change how he does his training after this much time.
