Today, Maxwell House rebrands to “Maxwell Apartment” to meet the needs of today’s consumer and remind fans the brand is synonymous with great tasting, affordable coffee. In a time where value matters now more than ever, Americans seek value in areas of their everyday, including where they live with nearly a third opting to rent versus purchase a home. As a real coffee for real people, with its “Good To the Last Drop” legacy, the name change celebrates the same principle that guided Maxwell House for more than a century – smart choices add up and choosing Maxwell House means enjoying a quality cup of coffee without the cafe price tag. To celebrate, the brand is offering consumers even more value with a 12-month “lease” of Maxwell Apartment, designed to stock up coffee lovers nationwide.
Beginning on National Coffee Day (Sept. 29), Maxwell House’s 12-month “lease” offer of Maxwell Apartment coffee is available on Amazon.com, while supplies last. For under $40, fans can stock their pantry with a full year of coffee – designed to save coffee enthusiasts more than $1,000 annually, compared to daily café runs,2 which on average can add up to more than $90 per month. Along with the rebranded canisters, the year-long supply of coffee will come with an official Maxwell Apartment “lease” to sign.
they should let the public savagely beat the marketing executive who came up with this because what
you would think they would change the maxwell part of the name to distance themselves from the second most famous child molester in history, but here we are
Rebranding to Epstein Island
opting to rent

It seems to me to be a PR stunt.
In a press release, the company says it’s temporarily rebranding to meet the needs of consumers.
Yeah, a fucking disgusting one at that. A ”lease” for coffee, ”opting” to rent, ”seeking value in areas of their everyday”, fuck off, nobody wants to give their money to a parasite if they don’t have to and framing it as a consumer choice is ghoulish.

Who goes to cafés twice a day?
I feel guilty for getting my $2.60 coffee from the gas station before work, and I don’t even do that every day.
K-Y Introduces New Line Of Jam
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Johnson & Johnson, manufacturer of the nation’s most popular personal lubricant, K-Y Jelly, held a press conference Monday to unveil its new line of K-Y Jam, which the company has touted as having “that thick, homemade feeling you’ve been craving.”
“Our new K-Y Jam contains no additives and is made from only the finest natural ingredients, resulting in a luscious blend that’s packed with rich, jammy goodness,” Johnson & Johnson CEO William Weldon said as he spooned out a dollop of the clear, glycerin-based jam. “A heaping spoonful of this stuff every morning will help you start your day off right.” Weldon went on to say that Johnson & Johnson had also begun production on a new line of K-Y Preserves targeted at the 65-and-over set.

The guy who invented Vaseline actually did this, though not every day I think
I keep hearing this, but I’ve seen no proof.
The link does not have pictures, and its links return errors.
So I went to Amazon directly, since the article mentions Amazon, and searched there. No rebranding. And nothing special comes up for a search for “maxwell house year.”
So… prove it.

Now I’m wondering for whom four of those would last a full year.
Also, they didn’t sell out, they made a very limited number available at a special price for influencers to do that they do best and increase brand awareness. You can still buy those canisters, but they won’t sell you four for $40.
Every once in a while, I can get the Folgers version BOGO at a place that sells them for $20, so if I bought four, it would be $40 plus tax. Other stores sell that size for about $16 and even that is not a bad price. Folgers Colombian is my go to base coffee, but I prefer Chock Full o’Nuts or Eight o’ Clock, both in Colombian.

being able to google something is a dying skill
