On Sep 20, TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet posted a statement on twitter that Charlie Kirk was a “man of steel” and stopped the bullet from reaching other people.

A lot of gun-youtubers reacted by saying that the bullet found with the gun is too big to match the wounds inflicted.

On Sep 21, Alex Jones said that he spoke to Andrew Kolvet and Charlie Kirk’s surgeon. The surgeon allegedly told Alex Jones that the bullet traveled downwards into the torso after hitting Kirk.

Today, Alex Jones has a former-Green-Beret gun-youtuber on his show to say that the bullets are too big and that there must have been a second shooter.

    The only justification I can think of is that the real shooter was closer range, given the belief that the bullet was a smaller caliber, and so the fake rifle would be to make the false longer range of the shot more plausible. idk, I’m not a gun person and I don’t believe there was a second gunman anyway. I’d sooner believe the one guy just has two guns and they failed to find the one he actually used, though that doesn’t really make sense to me either.

      the very idea the bullet wouldn’t create that wound is entirely baseless, someone who thinks they can tell the milimeters of difference between calibers based on miliseconds of distant camera footage is a fucking liar.

      which is why they brought a fuckin grene beret on, if anyones gonna be confidently lying about military shit it may as well be a SOCOM dullard

            Supposedly there were people behind the tent and in all of the million people looking at the footage at multiple angles over and over there don’t seem to be reports of a speck of blood from an exit wound being spotted or any other evidence that it went through him.

            I should repeat though that I don’t personally know anything about this, I’m just repeating what I heard to explain what a popular narrative is.
