One of the worst reddit-logo posts I’ve ever seen. I lost brain cells reading this and now I have to subject you all to the same.

CWs: transphobia, zionism, actual genocide denial, never-before-seen levels of liberalism, mentions of sexual assault, antisemitism

Some highlights:

"Man, isn’t it depressing that people are interested in engaging with politics beyond vote "

This next one’s a banger. We’ve got someone literally saying “Every trans rights in America is thanks to the democrats”, and thinking that the ballot box is the only way to effect change

"Why won’t you answer my contrived question that is framed in a way to make it seem like these are the only two possibilities??? Huh??? morshupls "

“All Russians know how to do is commit sexual assault, steal, and genocide”

"it’d take isntrael 30 years at this rate to kill all the Gazans, and Putler’s doing a worse genocide in ukkkraine "

“Russia is the only empire, don’t look too close at nato-cool. Also the only difference between Russia and Israel is that Israel is Jewish.”

“I mean, as stupid and flawed america has been and currently is now, for now at least, there isn’t censorship that detains or silences you if you talk shit to the government”

“Also TERFs are nowhere near the level of Nazis/tankies, that’s a crazy comparison”

“Trump is better than Putin, Stalin, Mao” - an Israeli-born zionist

    50… 50 thousand…

I’m sorry… THOUSAND… 50 thousand civillians is somehow okay? Definitely a low number but that’s still 2,500 non-combatants killed per year. If the town where I live had 2,500 deaths in a single year, there would literally be nobody left alive in this town. That’s an entire town worth of people, not soldiers, just… people… killed.

Nothing about this number, even as inaccurately low as it most definitely is, should be okay.

I think there is something to be said for comparing the relative propensity for collateral damage between two militaries, but that only applies when the wars are just. The US invasion was not, which means 100% of the deaths were unnecessary.
