“I can say that he has been very cooperative,” Cox continued, possibly misgendering the roommate. “This partner has been incredibly cooperative, had no idea that this was happening and is working with investigators right now.”

This has to be intentional. Shitting in one hand calling it “civility” then in the other lobbing a grenade of transphobia. Love it.

I was thinking about this last night. Did Tyler do it because he thought he was helping his friend? If so this is a great reason why you don’t do adventurism. You’re not a superhero, you’re not helping. Lana (I think that’s the name she wanted to use) was already going through a lot with her family. They were all cultist Mormons trying to exercise the demons out of her. She was trying to get away and avoid that life. She found some respite online and with people who accepted her. Now she’s likely going to end up being in heavy shit through no choice of her own. Because Tyler wanted to be a hero. She was always in danger, it being Utah, but now she is in more danger.

When people have feelings like they want to do something, they need to be able to talk about it. Tyler needed to go to someone who wasn’t also a 20-year old with a martyr complex.
