The guy under criticism for being a public defender’s argument is in part that those accused of domestic violence and abuse are the poor and otherwise disenfranchised (Citing black people getting accused of domestic violence at higher levels amongst other things) and that the capitalist and imperialist state is an illegitimate judge so getting people off in any case is Good.
