Saw a post today from a Blue MAGA type lib that was all about “don’t be mean to people that just decided to care about Gaza recently”. Libs starting to actually feel vulnerable about Dems being terrible genocide supporters for years, and they don’t want anyone to talk about it because it’s not “effective political strategy”. Same lib also posting about how authoritarian China/Xi is with heavy reference to Tinyman Square and genocide/disappearances etc.
If I had to be around a lib talking like this in person, I’d probably lose my shit.
critiquing the imperial war machine and the thousands upon thousands of innocents actively murdered by it is not an effective political strategy.
critiquing the for-profit corporate dominance of healthcare provisioning and the millions of innocent actively murdered by it is not an effective political strategy.
our greatest and most powerful weapon to defeat barbariam is Hamilton 2: Slay Queen Brat Summer.
There’s got to be a whole ecosystem of Hamilton copycats that I’ve managed to stay blissfully unaware of for years now . . . the only one I know is Epic, which would be ten times better if it changed some of the Hamilton parts.
lol, i was at a work social thing recently and somebody made this reference nobody got, so they followed up with, “is anyone else a Hamilton fan?” and i assumed there would be at least one to volunteer as a member of the fandom, but everybody just looked at them blankly like, “no, wrong crowd.”
literally the only reason i even remembered that lib catnip enough to reference it.
sic semper Hamilton fans
They love Hamilton, but they always forget about the part where he dunks on the pacifist whining that revolution is a bad thing. People saw the new Superman and said “those brown people are Ukraine”
Media literacy means nothing anymore
