I like skipping the question part and just telling them to do something.
“Corbyn’s new party will split the vote so Reform wins”
“You should call your MP and tell them how much ranked choice or another FPTP alternative means to you”
obviously it’s a waste of time to call them, but it should shut them up as it’s literally sole actual outlet for their complaint besides campaigning to make 3rd parties illegal.
similarly, any one who addresses any complaint to the “online left” should get no response except instructions in how to participate in an organ of the offline left.
My favorite thing to ask them is “What are you doing to help, aside from being annoying online?”
They never really have an answer aside from “I’m raising awareness!” or “What? Do you expect me to die for your revolution?”
