It was an open-ended statement (not that I was hinting at the answer) as I can’t really find specifics myself, but according to this old video recording of AOC herself promoting her enterprise, it was to “try to find designers, artists, authors that really know the ‘urban story’ and help develop stories for kids.”. No idea what “urban stories” means as AOC doesn’t elaborate herself, but if I had to guess was probably liberal capitalist-friendly fictional material repackaged for children. I should also note this enterprise ceased to exist a long time ago which, alongside her official biography scrubbing her entire entrepreneurial stint, is why it’s so hard to find info about it.

Regardless, this basically bursts the idea that she was some bartender/ waitress working class girl who decided to get involved in grassroots demsoc movements and instead was 100% wanting to get into entrepreneurship (with Israeli dual-national capitalists no less) before vying for political power.
