The delegation headed by Comrade Ma Hui, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) who is visiting Nicaragua in the framework of the 46/19, visited the First Capital of the Revolution this Sunday, July 20, to deliver educational materials to the Special School Angela Morales Aviles.

Comrade Ma Hui, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the PCCH together with the delegation; Ambassador Chen Xi; the Minister Advisor on Education Issues, Salvador Vanegas; the Minister of Education, Mendy Aráuz; Mayor of León, Guissela Lacayo; the political secretary of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) in the department of León; Evertz Delgadillo, made symbolic delivery of the donation of educational materials to students of the Ángela Morales Avilés Special Education School.

Comrade Ma Hui, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), shared his joy at being able to visit the city of León, specifically the Ángela Morales Avilés Special Education School.

“It gives me great pleasure to be able to take advantage of this visit from Nicaragua and attend the commemorative act of the 46th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, to visit the city of Leon and the Ángela Morales Special Education School, in coordination with the China Foundation for Peace and Development”.

It should be noted that the China Foundation for Peace and Development contributed to the rehabilitation and equipping of this Special Education School.

“Our 6-member delegation with a journey of nearly 34 hours, we arrived in this land of Nicaragua, traveling a distance of nearly 10 thousand kilometers and represented more than 100 million militants of our Communist Party of China to attend the commemorative event for the 46th anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista People’s Revolution,” said Comrade Ma Hui.

In addition to reiterating congratulations on the 46th anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista People’s Revolution, he stressed that they are very moved that this was a very successful event.

“Above all, it has left us with a deep impression of the great support of the Nicaraguan people, especially the new generations, the young Sandinistas and the Co-President Commander Daniel Ortega Saavedra and comrade Rosario Murillo,” said Hui.

The Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), recalled that "China has a population of 60 million people with disabilities and the government pays great attention to their lives and education, just like the Nicaraguan government, which attaches great importance to improving the living standards of these groups of people, a conclusion we drew with our visit to this school.

He affirmed that the China Foundation for Peace and Development, taking advantage of these points, has carried out small but very beautiful projects to improve the living conditions of these groups of people, which has become a great symbol of friendship that has brought our hearts closer.

He emphasized that the future of the relations between both countries consists in the friendship between our peoples, “and our country attaches great importance to the exchange and cooperation in all areas”.

He said that the Chinese government of the Communist Party of China and civil society organizations in our countries will force much more in the future to make new contributions to the friendship between the two countries.

This event was developed with the presentation of a cultural day, performed by students and teachers, including the participation of the Rubén Darío choir of the Ángela Morales Avilés Special School.

“We want to thank the Ministry of Education and the Ángela Morales Special Education School of the city of León for this warm welcome and the good arrangement of this event, as well as for the cultural activities that students and teachers offered us, especially the participation of students with disabilities; they probably have disabilities in the body, but they have a strong will and we hope that you in the future, can become talents that contribute to the socioeconomic development of the Nicaraguan country,” shared comrade Ma Hui.

Special Schools in the country are a triumph of the Revolution

For her part, the Minister of Education, Mendy Aráuz, emphasized that “the Special Education Schools in our country are a triumph of the Sandinista People’s Revolution, those conquests that we Nicaraguan families have achieved. In this school, thanks to the People and Government of China, we have been improving and dignifying these educational environments. So we are sure that we are on the right path, on those paths of peace, prosperity and common good,” he said.

During this visit, the delegation of the Communist Party of China visited the “Museum of the Revolution”, a site that houses the historical struggle of the Revolution.

The delegation led by Comrade Ma Hui, also had a fruitful meeting, full of exchange with the mayor of Leon, Guissela Lacayo; the political secretary of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) in the department of Leon, Evertz Delgadillo, in the mayor’s office of Leon.

The Mayor of Leon, Guissela Lacayo, in addition to giving a warm welcome, took the opportunity to share with the delegation that Leon is known as the First Capital of the Revolution, for being the first Nicaraguan city liberated from the Somoza dictatorship on June 20, 1979. She also shared with them that on July 18, 1979, in the auditorium of the UNAN-Leon, the Government Junta of National Reconstruction was established.

During this meeting, he took the opportunity to share with the brothers from China, about the Ruben Dario Museum Archive, which covers the life and work of the Universal Poet; he also mentioned some of the advances in infrastructure works, which beautify and bring more development to the city of Leon.
