My problem with all my favorite Misfit songs is the music is so good whils the lyrics are so stupid edgelord shit.
Bullet: yeah I can’t send a friend or a partner Glenn Danzig crooning “masturbate me and slurp up all the cum”.
Last Caress: gonna do what to someone’s mom now? (But then his crooning at the end is just so good with those guitars)

I’ve been inspired to do some covers of Misfits songs with more appropriately politically targeted violent lyrics than just indiscriminate violence toward women but I haven’t gotten around to it because I don’t know how to make music in the style I want for that project.
