I think there are a lot of things that are behind subscriptions that you do not realize. One example is computer mice.

They use switches that are only rated for a certain number of clicks before they stop working.

I was going through mice about once every 18 months. I decided to learn to soldier and just replace the switches once they broke.

I found that the switched in the $100 Logitech mouse I bought were only rated for 5 or 10 million clicks. The switch they use can be purchased in a 70 million version. Why didn’t they use that from the start?

I ended up repairing 3 mice and have a lot of extra switches sitting in a bit at home.

Critics call it “carspreading”. In the UK and across Europe, cars are steadily becoming longer, wider and heavier.

It just sounds too good to be true. So, no critics have claimed downsides to this?

So is this a huge breakthrough that’s going to be adopted by ai companies across the board? Or maybe there is some downside.

Things I have to complete “adhd edition”

Can you tell me what it was like before and after? Like how has your life improved? I’m still on the fence about getting on meds.

I’m in my late 30s and I told my mom recently that I think I have adhd.

She reminded me that I took a test at a psych when I was like 18 and they said I was borderline adhd and that they could give me meds for it but I declined.

I completely forgot about that until my mom told me the story.

I’d guess that every manager was trying to implement ai as much as they could and now that people have had time to figure out how to use it most effectively they are using it less.

Unless forced to do so by law and then Apple would kick and scream and do everything they could to “technically” follow the law without actually doing what the law intended them to do. Then they would drag it out in court for years.

I have a few friends in this situation.

My wife and I sometimes say that we are happy that we are done with the going out dating night life scene.

We both had fun times dating when we were younger and single, but we are older now and are happy to relax on our home on a Friday night.

One of our single friends said they were tired of going out to date and stuff, and I don’t blame her. As you get into your late 30s, the appeal is kind of gone.

My first car crash was someone slamming into the back of my car on the highway when traffic came to a sudden stop.

I was not injured at all, but 20 years later, I still sometimes check my rear mirror when it happens. For years it was a constant thing, but lately, its just in really abrupt stops.

I think modding older stuff to use rechargeable batteries is not too difficult. I think the harder thing is replacing the nonstandard charging ports with usb-c.

I’d love my 3ds to just have a usb-c charging ports I’m considering doing the mod myself.
