If that wire is thinner than a hair, and has high bandwith, well. But these small devices can not carry a giant spool of that around, so it will need to be prepared for ambush missions I suppose.

I think the cold war (lasted until 1991) was all about gigantic very expensive weapon systems: long range, tons of weight, very high unit costs. Offensive in nature. This one will be about cheap, short ranged shit that is mass produced.

It feels a little like being in a different reality right now, media bubble, cut loose from everything.

Why cant all this neuromorphic chip stuff be done on a FPGA? I heard FPGAs are bad at floating-point operations I guess.
