Leetx won’t give you an account just to post one thing, those are for people who promise to provide regular content and pass a questionnaire. You can go into their IRC channel and see if you can find someone with posting privileges who’ll post it for you though. You can also just start seeding it on your own and add a few basic trackers to it without uploading anywhere, DHT scrapers will find it and it’ll start to appear on certain trackers for those and spread out into the wider ecosystem as people use search tools like jackett or the arrs and find it, with luck one of them might even re-up to a private tracker for longevity. Archive dot org is also not a bad suggestion but things can pretty easily get taken down from there as well, it’s kind of luck of the draw how long it stays up, could stay up years, could be taken down in weeks.

The pirate bay might still allow new accounts to upload, my only guess at the moment.

If it is particularly rare and you can add big public announcers to it and seed with a DHT client someone here might be able to upload it to a private tracker for you (if they know the name). Otherwise at least with DHT on and some open trackers added people will find it eventually though it may take a few days or even weeks to start propagating and if interest is low it could take months before anyone tries to download it but such is the way of things. Make sure to name the torrent and files accurately with the movie name, year, source (like bluray), etc.

The most evilly clever thing they did was introduce mandatory hardware link encryption (HDCP) to prevent using a VCR, dvd-recorder, DVR, etc to record streaming content. And by not having their own DVR they’ll be in a position when they wish to have for the first time since the late 90s (well over 30 years at this point) the population in a place where they cannot skip ads at all, the technology, the ability carefully murdered and the population trained like dogs to accept it. Add on the fact it’s on-demand instead of something a box can passively pick out of a multiplexed signal and even if that wasn’t an issue it’s just not practical to record and watch later a bunch of streaming series.

I also read that so I think yes with the caveat that the conception of “cowboy” as some sort of gun-slinging mercenary or hero is a romanticized notion as part of revisionist history pushed by for example Hollywood. I’m sure there were gun-slinging black cowboys and Mexican ones as well. But most of them weren’t getting into Magnificent Seven or John Wayne or Randolph Scott stuff. The only place you’ll be able to get it will be from a dentist and it’ll be deemed “medically unnecessary and experimental” so not covered by government insurance for the poor and possibly not by some scummy and especially short-sighted private dental plans (which are only really discount plans and a free teeth cleaning coupon anyways compared to regular non-teeth health insurance which actually covers procedures a lot of the time). The teeth of the poor will rot even more and serve as an even stronger class identifier.

I don’t normally think that removing pawns from the chessboard would meaningful change things but in this one instance I think if RFK got hit by a tidal wave of dewormer and/or dropped over dead from an overdose of the poison he takes this nonsense would stop. Yes they’d still be tearing down medicaid and still push some random woo bullshit but not all of this garbage this fast and this stridently.
