This story is crazy. What you have to understand is that the cops were simply reading the room for those first few days after Kirk got shot.

The right wing has declared their intention to jail anyone arbitrarily for speech by blatantly lying that a “violent threat” was made, because that is the only real legal framework for arresting people over speech. Fascists usually adhere to a sort of pantomime of the preexisting liberal legal framework.

The police here couldn’t even identify what the threat was, but they thought they wouldn’t need to. They thought, like many did on all sides of the political world, that the Kirk shooting was going to be our Reichstag fire. Then it fizzled out completely. These cops thought they were on the bleeding edge of a roundup of political opposition, but now they’re caught holding the bag and have no way to even begin to rationalize this arrest.

It’s important that these cops see legal punishment on a personal level.

I don’t know much about radio interference but my main headphones are the Sennheiser RS 175 RF. I see them for $250 at Best Buy. I hate bluetooth and I will say right here, DO NOT get a bluetooth headset with a built in mic- if you need a mic always go with separate input and output devices. Bluetooth cannot handle two full quality audio streams. Ever. It’s not enough bandwidth.

Hopefully if you get RF headphones its a COMPLEEETELY different RF band or its gonna be even worse I assume

I don’t think the military people thought attacking the rest of the entire world would go well - I think the impending economic crisis led the Nazis to try to kill all their foreign creditors, and the concept that the war could possibly work meant that it had to be tried, since they were certain to lose control domestically once the sheen wore off and the treats disappeared again

I love OnePlus, especially for the battery. They charge So Fucking Fast. If your OnePlus is dead you can get it to 80% in literally like 15 minutes. If the battery is a bit low when youre running out the door you can plug it in, tie your shoes, and it’s meaningfully more charged

Literally the only downside is the selection of cases versus the flagship phones. Make sure you pick out a case before you buy it.

Why would I need the 50 people of the metropolis of Gamebryonia to tell me 500 lines of meaningless flavour text instead of 50? I seriously don’t get the point.

What I mean is you could have writers craft very detailed branching dialogue trees for lots of characters and not worry about budget. Basically since the early 2000’s we’ve had the problem of a huge reduction in dialogue because people expect voices. You can’t even revise quests and things as easily because maybe they already recorded voice lines and you have to keep to that.

That kind of thing does sort of exist but it’s also already been used to get actors to basically lose the rights to themselves for one above average payday. hard to draw a good line in that scenario honestly
