this is an annoying conversation, especially because there are other flags people could be flying, but no, they want the Snek flag, famously the only protest flag ever

edit: someone made this point elsewhere, but like, people can come up with new symbols and new flags. this sidesteps the issue altogether, and you’ve created new meaning instead of trying to “take back” a symbol
