Nolan is a friend of mine who lives in the United States. He is the organizer of my fundraising campaign, as platforms like GoFundMe and Chuffed do not work and cannot be created from Gaza, Palestine. These platforms require linking to a bank account in countries where they operate. Nolan collects donations on my behalf and sends them to a Bank of Palestine account that belongs to my brother here in Gaza. I then use these funds to cover basic living necessities for myself, my son, and my family. Prices are extremely high here in Gaza and the situation is very dangerous.
