The band had several personnel changes, and with it lots of legal battles over the band name and the rights to their music. So the song I posted is actually by Jefferson Starship, but the band Starship is still around and this is their official channel, so that’s why it’s labelled as such.
I do this because I’m autistic, haha, and my research advisor in college was also, and classic rock was one of his special interests. He could go on for an hour about the various musician changes in all of his favorite bands. I’d just be listening to Pandora or something, then a song by, like, Ram Jam would come on, and he’d start going on about the history of the band and how they got started. Eventually a lot of the high points started to stick.
