in all seriousness, palantir and clearview are way more dangerous than most of the other shit going on out there. only Putin has greater max evil potential (when considering not only politics and military but also Russian Mafia and western politician campaign secret donations).

It’s amazing how Russiagate malarkey and the Ukraine war has people thinking Putin is some cartoon evil mastermind. There is no greater “max evil potential” in the world than the US empire itself, of which Palantir & Clearview are constituent parts.
The company I work for is using software sold by palantir.
The software itself is benign, and quite clever and useful, but regardless it feels like we’ve made a deal with the devil to me.
