The most interesting thing for me was how the West and Russia were clearly fighting two very different wars. The west fought a propaganda war primarily focused on the media and manipulation of public opinion. It was very successful within the west, but largely failed in the rest of the world. Meanwhile, Russia primarily focused on fighting a war of attrition and used propaganda in support of material conditions that were developing. While The west managed to control the narrative early on, the material reality ultimately ended up asserting itself, and now the whole narrative is starting to collapse.
