The game itself is actually decent IMO, there’s a lot of creative plays to be made with portals in an arena style shooter. You can use a shotgun and rapidly close gaps on the enemy, reposition after a kill when reloading, reach very high areas of the map by using portals on the floor + momentum, etc.
all I’m saying is I’m pretty sure I played Portal With Guns as a UT2k4 mod before Portal Without Guns existed, and even before that UT already had the Translocator as a series staple
I legit started nodding off on that one. I think a video or two later it got cool, though.
