The “Israeli” mista’arvim units have long been controversial; their operations have included assassinations in the middle of Palestinian cities and even deadly raids in hospitals, as occurred in Jenin last year.
Why is "Israeli” in quotes?
Because it is an illegitimate state
Do Israelis even have a culture besides murdering Palestinians? I feel like that’s been their entire identity.
Don’t forget perpetual victimhood.
Hit A to shoot, and hit B to cry.
the hit Netflix series Fauda, which dramatizes the actions of an elite “Israeli” undercover unit known as mista’arvim. These units operate disguised as Palestinians, often carrying out lethal operations in the occupied West Bank.
A TV show whose premise is that the main characters do one of the most cut-and-dry warcrimes there is.
They learned from the best. Americans have been doing this with all sorts of media for ages. Black Hawk down slaughtering Africans in a “heroic last stand”. Chris Kyle just straight up mass-murdering people predator-style with high-tech weapons. And while I haven’t seen it, Warfare (came out this year) is probably another one on about some Iraq war-crimes.
Then there’s the fictional stuff like Rambo mowing down hordes of faceless Asians. Jack Bower torturing Arabs for “the greater good”.
And a shout out to Ken Burns for whitewashing American war-crimes in Vietnam for several hours.
Still, incredibly fucked.
Totally not genocidal intent.
Do they get to shoot children?
Thank god I know about few anti zionists leftist citizens of The Colonial State Israel so I know not everyone there is sick in the head.
There are dozens of them!
