edit // changed the title from “Venezuelan oil tanker” to “oil tanker near Venezuela”. nytimes says the ship was flagged with Panama. the reuters article seems to say that the oil was headed to China.
The next DOJ can have such a sweet job with how this is all being setup. They’ll just need to copy the official press releases to evidence and dump admin officials at the Hague. While it’s been very difficult for this DOJ, I don’t imagine it would be too hard to abstain from commenting on active cases.
plundering the global south is bipartisan, why would they punish themselves for this?
