I am certain that at least on Instagram most of the comments are bots/alt accounts. 90% of them follow the exact same username pattern: A first name followed by a random string of numbers. All with no profile picture.
It’s hard to know how much of those comments are authentic vs the result of brigades from discord groups with way too much time on their hands
