I was told that it may lead to easier or faster release, and I imagine I might be targeted to be imprisoned if I push it if I don’t bring an ID, but I feel like that’s bullshit but I don’t think I should leave it to chance
Would you bring an ID to a protest?
(Did I accidentally start a struggle session?)

I’m pretty sure it’s because you used the word “deranged” in those comments, it’s sort of a synonym for mentally ill.
how many dozens of times have i seen a meme format posted on this site making fun of some shit i.e. euclidean geometry ending with “they’ve taken us for fools” and “statements of the deranged” and not once has the horrific inherent ableism ever once been mentioned by anyone, but that’s to be expected when proscriptive word policing really only ends up being used as an excuse to moderate shit that’s disagreed with
This site has vacillated back and fucking forth on whether or not common language like “that’s dumb” is ableism more times than I can fucking count it should really have an admin post every time it’s decided oh no this is a crime again
There’s never really been consensus about what counts and what doesn’t, it’s really just up to moderator discretion. I think most people here agree that we should generally try to avoid that kind of language, but it’s so common (and generally mild) that it doesn’t really warrant removal.
Feel free to report those posts for ableism or for them to put a CW for ableist language. Mods can’t moderate posts they don’t know about.
This site hasn’t vacillated back and forth on this, people just break the rules and don’t get reprmianded because we’re volunteer run and don’t have the bandwith to catch everything. Why you believe this makes it right for you to insinuate that language moderation is a form of censorship when it costs very little to rewrite your message is another thing.
I like it when I find out that an regular word in my vocabulary is a slur and I can never use it again.
It’s not like I reported it
