      This is from Connoreatspants interviewing Gavin Newsom on October 3. When asked about Hasan, Gavin started stuttering quite a bit.

      Connor: Would you go on Hasan’s stream? Do you know about Hasan?

      Newsom: Uh I- He’s impressive beyond words. Uh I would. I would.

      Connor: Okay. I’ll get you in touch.

      Newsom: Yeah, I- I’m Yeah, he’s uh he’s he’s I’m very very impressed by a lot of what he has done and and say. what he says on – not everything I agree – but a lot of things. They seem impressive be very very good.

      Connor: What about the Nelk Boys? (MAGA podcast)

      Newsom: I’d love to go on those guys.

      Connor: They seem like they seem like fun dudes, man.

      Newsom: They seem like fun dudes and those guys. Uh I think we’re just working on logistics to get on there which will be great.

      Connor: I see.

      Newsom: I told you I was on with with Sean Ryan (right wing conspiracy theorist). He’s Navy Seal. Impressive dude. Um we spent 4 hours. Literally it’s a 4-hour podcast. I went down to Tennessee to visit with them. Uh and he’s just, you know, just a lot of guys out there doing some pretty remarkable doing a remarkable job in in that space. Uh with different obviously politics. He had ma- you know he had MAGA hats everywhere and you know you know he’s I think it was whatever you know. Trump 20-

      Connor: What do you think about like Zohran Mamdani?

      Newsom: Um I don’t know enough about him except what I read and see. This is a hell of a campaign he’s run and his use of social media. Uh the energy he’s built. His focus, laser focus on cost of living. And um and it’s it’s really and the more I watch him, the more impressed I am with his maturity for a guy that’s so young. Um you know, he’s not that young, but he is uh he’s he’s I’ I’ve been pretty impressed watching him, but again, I don’t know enough about him or his politics. Obviously, there’s some controversial things.

      Connor: I think he seems chill. I think anything controversial people are kind of overplaying or at least they want you to overplay. I think that like- Again, like I think I think politics at this point has broken this barrier of like being like you have to play by the rules and do whatever. Like uh Trump’s kind of broken that especially for the left. The left needs to be more like open to not more extreme idea. I think extreme is the wrong word, but just like breaking this mold of like traditional uh you know… I think everybody should be able to live in a house, right?
