Expose in detail the massive corruption at the very top levels of the Chinese Communist Party. While tariffs and sanctions can always be spun as an attack by hostile foreign forces, if the Chinese people, most of whom are desperately struggling, see how much money their top leaders have embezzled, game over.

We break the Great Firewall of China. The best way to do that is if @elonmusk opens up Starlink to China. Yes, the CCP would retaliate against him and he’d lose the Gigafactory and his other assets in China. But the CCP won’t be in power long after that.

this is hilariously out of touch but i just want to zoom in on one thing
This person doesn’t understand how Starlink works. You can’t just press the Starlink button for a country, you have to install the tranceiver infrastructure so that people can talk to the Starlink satellites. That means distributors, installers, factory production of the transcievers, adding more satellites to the constellation to cover the additional bandwidth - if Musk tried to spin up black market Starlink as a way for people to get around the firewall (which wouldn’t work because there are already much more accessible ways to do that) the Chinese Government would have so many vectors to stop that from happening and also a dozen ways of punishing Musk personally, like for example kicking Tesla out of the country.
No you don’t understand, Musk could paradrop in the anntenae for Starlink like how South Korea sends flash drives full of k-pop into the DPRK!
You can rig up a transceiver (I don’t know much about the transmitter part, I’ve only messed around with the receiver) in a garage over the course of a few weekends. It won’t work unless you have the keys to Starlink, which Musk could publish to China, but I don’t know how he’d keep it as a paid service in Taiwan and Korea. Of course, all of this requires so much work to do that even if it happened only hundreds would go through the trouble to actually do it.
