I actually didn’t get snipped until I was in first grade due to getting repeat infections in the area (most likely due to my eczema). It sucks but what can you do, it kept me out of the hospital. I would never do it to my hypothetical child unless absolutely necessary.
I know a few who got snipped later in life too. It sounds like hell for the weeks that follow after it happens. Like it hurts when you change clothes or the towel brushes against it.
I have some light medical trauma from getting snipped when I was 8 years old, I wasnt given paracetamol that I recall, but I do remember being OD’d in morphine and throwing up in the hospital carpark after I was sent home because they needed the bed lol

Yeah it did hurt for a bit and I’m pretty sure I just took Tylenol and guess what, I didn’t have autism!
