Five people were killed Sunday by an Israeli air strike on southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese government, but claims several US citizens were among the dead are now being disputed.
a US State Department spokesperson disputed the claim. “While the situation is fluid, so far, indications are that the five killed were not US citizens,” they told CNN
I was worried for a second that Israel might actually face some consequences for murdering children this time, but if they weren’t Americans then I’m sure all is forgiven.
USS Liberty and Abdulrahman al-Awlaki already happened. I don’t think there’s anything (short of invading/nuking the continental US) that could force the US to actually punish Israel anymore.
the mistake is seeing israel as a seperate entity rather than a vessel/part of the U.S., 5 American cirizens weren’t killed by a foreign country, they were killed by U.S. occupation forces in the middle east, just like how cops kill U.S.citizens all the time

I agree, hence the mention of al-Awlaki which was the US killing a US citizen (and child) but it was okay because he was brown.
