Elons life is literally a tragedy, a fucking (post)modern Citizen Kane, but with socially stunted memelord charisma.
He has seen great heights and success, but in achieving that, he has become a hypocrite and abandoned all of his previously held values, pissed off basically everyone he’s ever known or who once looked up to him, been kicked out of ever social group he has ever himself idolized.
I’ve disliked him for so long I keep forgetting that it wasn’t all that long ago he was considered “one of the good billionaires” by a ton of people. Prior to, what, 2020 if you asked the average person about him you’d just get “oh he’s that electric car guy in Iron Man right”. If he had played his cards right and not dropped that facade he’d still be viewed largely positively by most people.

His initial view on AI was that it was potentially very dangerous, in a SkyNet, Roko’s Basilisk kind of way.
Then he just flipped a hard 180 on that when ‘wait, what if AI drive car?’
