Schmidt, not even The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer. Mm, mm, mm. Typical. Why is this list so heavily biased in favor of fiction? There was hardly anything ‘boring’ about actually existing fascism. Is somebody afraid that reading history books would make the links between fascism and capitalism too obvious?
