Tim Conway has stated that Turn-On was canceled midway through its only episode, so that the party that the cast and crew held for its premiere as the show aired across the United States also marked its cancellation.[4][5] A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Conway later claimed that the Cleveland ABC affiliate, WEWS-TV, replaced the show after the first commercial break and utilized an “emergency protocol” of a black screen with live organ music.[4]

Tell me, where is the capital of South Vietnam?

Mostly over here [points to Europe] in Swiss bank accounts.

    Some solid gags in there.

    • lmao, no joke i just got to that one and laughed. i liked the one with the Nazi shaped table being designed by some american general. then it shows two US flag officers talking

“I don’t think Lieutenant Smith is mentally stable enough to command a platoon.”
      “I think you’re right. Let’s give him a regiment.”

pretty sharp and ballsy shit for 1969.

God, I’m trying to watch episode one but the constant audio glitchy synth noises in the background make it unwatchable lol. You could use this track to torture people.

Edit: ok seems like that finally ends around the seven minute mark. Jesus.

Another edit: oh god the glitchy sounds are back. However the “working class/middle class/unemployed” joke was good
