Sure, this is ok. But Velma is the first media in human history with the guts to stand up to crackers and call them out on their collective narcissism, and the entire human race started screeching for the developers heads because how dare the strong be the target of ridicule for once.
I think people largely didn’t like Velma because it was a poorly written show trying to milk the popularity of Scooby Doo as a franchise. If it had just been called like… “Maddie” or something and wasn’t related to Scooby Doo, no one would’ve given a shit. The CHUDs were hangers on, not the main group of people complaining.
And it really wasn’t the first media in history to make fun of white people, you should check out the Boondocks, I think you’d love it (it is a very good show)
