    for real. these companies dont care if the user experience is ruined bc they already got the money and there are no laws (at least in the us) saying they have to give it back

    i will say thats some mega loser shit tho. cheating at video games is cringe enough (you’re cheating at a toy that doesnt matter lol) but to get caught, banned, then buy the game again on a different account. like bro you don’t even like this game if you can’t play it without cheats, what is going on in someone’s life to make them like this

      Much like hacking websites (y’know, those virtual machines that are made to be vulnerable for learning cybersecurity or whatever) or exploiting glitches in single player games, (like MissingNo. or Glitch Cities in Pokémon Red) I imagine some people cheat in these games for the thrill of figuring out how and successfully breaking the sandbox. Of course some people just download cheats to make themselves more effective in the game, and that’s kinda lame to me, but whatever.
