The left should have centered the discourse around the simple question; Should Ukraine and its Nazi regiments be allowed to ethnically cleanse Donbass?

Your average lib couldn’t care less and would’ve said yes, but leftists even left trolls would be forced by the inertia of internet debate drama to take the question “seriously” by which I mean they could only answer in the negative or in the way that compromises their left credentials

By centering the topic around Ukraine vs Russia, liberals and neocon leftists muddy the water while sweeping Ukrainian neo-nazism and their genocidal intentions for Donbass under the rug

Then that answer compromises their left credentials, afterward the only course of action is to hammer over and over the question; Why does Donbass deserve to be ethnically cleansed by Kiev Nazis?

Libs are just ignorant and programmed by media, NATO leftists on the otherhand are being purposely obtuse and dishonest, more so than any lib, the only response is to be as uncharitable as possible and hammer them on why they believe in genocide

I asked my coworker this and he said “war is not the answer, strong sanctions would be”

And when I said “so after hundreds of thousands of people get butchered before they feel the weight of the sanctions, that’s okay?” And never got a response lol

You see how well it works, they get defensive immediately and shut down after one back and forth

It short circuits ALL of the liberal talking points about Ukraine, because at the end of day its Ukrainians who are getting genocided by other Ukrainians, it destabilizes their “moral high ground” rhetoric because they either have to deny it (which is defensive) or they have to delve deeper into Ukrainian ultra-nationalism which spoils their liberal or leftist character

They (edit: the libs) have a hard-on for rULe oF LaW which basically means any internationally-recognized borders (read: backroom deals made a lifetime ago) are forever inviolable.

You have to keep in mind they don’t actaully believe that, it’s just rhetoric

The minute they bring out that nonsense the move is to draw out their racism, asking over and over; Why is it OK for the US and it’s allies to violate the borders of a hundred non-white countries? HAMMER THE QUESTION

These people can’t help themselves, they will reveal their racism in short order, let them show their ass

I would say they are high on their own supply.

Obviously the “rules-based international order” is not an even playing field, and certain countries get preferential treatment in almost identical situations. But the framing of liberal/capitalist media is one hell of a drug, it affects how most people in the West subconsciously see the world.

The RBIO is racist as fuck, but to explicitly admit this you have to declare both that the hegemonic power structure in the world is your enemy, and that you’ve been duped by it for years. That second part makes it particularly hard to admit.

Fortunately, in this case it is easy to ask the question of whether people in Donbass and Crimea deserve self-determination just like the people of Kosovo did. Taking a closer look at the region and its nuances, 11 years ago, was what made me stop automatically receiving the NATO worldview.

        are forever inviolable.

Unless of course if NATO wants to reshape them, then it’s suddenly liberation. Looking at the demographic map of Kosovo
