They’re the most evil. They have enough of a political education in marxism to understand and subvert it and actively choose to do so because they side with fascism. Ideological true believers with a clear enough understanding of us to play the propaganda game like this.
I’m not really convinced that it’s effective at all, I think their time could be better spent, but they are certainly dangerous people. I wouldn’t even consider rehabilitation, straight to the wall.
I think the key issue in whether to bother with rehabilitation, is “would this person be a communist, if they were sat down, forced to read all the theory, and someone explained it to them”. (Yes, I know that not everyone needs to read all the theory to understand the ML positions, and that in a properly functional DOTP, not every worker needs to be a well educated theory-head party cadre, but having to read, and being expected to understand, lots of complicated theory, seems like a good and fitting mild torture for most garden variety reactionaries.) If the answer is likely or possibly yes, then sure, send them to a re-education camp. If definitely or likely no, to the wall it is.

In some cases changing their conditions such that they’re comfortable might also just make them do other shit instead of actively contributing to fascist work, that’s an alternative. I don’t care if they exist if they’re using their time to pick their nose and play videogames or whatever.
I don’t know how you teach an adult “actually, minority groups are humans, too. Genocide is bad.” When these are fundamental things you should learn before preschool.
