updated as of yesterday (July 21): based on a statistical model developed by a prestigious medical journal called The Lancet, Israel has killed roughly 434,800 people in Gaza since the country’s military started to attack the territory on 8 October 2023. That’s 20.7% of Gaza’s entire pre-conflict population dead. Over half are women and children.
That’s not even the worst case. Israel is a fascist death cult and fascists need enemies. They won’t stop at Palestine. If they aren’t stopped, they’ll continue wars and genocides until they collapse from internal contradictions, outside sanctions or military defeat.
Lebanon is the next obvious target. Also what’s left of Syria. More war with Iran too. Remember how while the war on Iran was still going, Israeli politicians already talked about who to attack next? They favored Pakistan, but also had a whole list of other countries, including even Turkey.
But don’t think the “West” is safe from Israel! The US empire and others will surely import more and more fascist tactics and actual fascists from Israel to suppress leftists and general unrest as deteriorating living conditions lead to rising class consciousness. It’s already happening.
