Also I’m quite certain we could do the same map for across the world in the same timeframe and come up with similar results due to the creation of the Israeli colonial state encouraging mass immigration from around the world. People moving around doesn’t equate to them being killed, it’s just demographic shifts.

They are doing the “Double Nakhba” myth, equating the mass-migration of Middle Eastern Jews to Palestine* with the expulsion of Palestinians from what would become Israel. Obviously, in some cases Jews were expelled and that was a bad thing, or they were fleeing antisemitism (such as bombings mostly instigated by Mossad in Iraq), but the fact that Morocco and Algeria, French colonies, are being included on this map when discussing “Islamism” is absolute proof that this person is just a racist moron.

Edit: I’m not sure if it’s your brand of terminally online, but Ethan Klein has been constantly promoting this line of argumentation, and I think posts like this are a symptom of the campaigns of people like him.

Edit 2: *Or to France, because that’s usually where the Jews in Algeria went, rather than to Israel. Those from Morocco mostly went to Israel via Operation Yachin, though some went to France, Canada, or the US.

Starting the count in 1948, out of all years, is the opposite of successfully burying the lede. They’re trying to say “Islamists” (nebulous category, I’m just gonna assume it means Arabs that aren’t compradors) colonized WANA. But this process took place starting 1948? The revisionist mythology of Zionism usually requires that you go back to the Arab Conquest, and asserts that Arabs were always kicking Jews around; if this phenomenon started in 1948 then something is just not adding up.

When the zionist entity was founded, some Arab countries were colonies and had their jews transferred to israel by the colonizers, some independent ones were bribed into sending them, the case for Algeria specifically is that Jews had a french nationality, and for the rest the mossad supported terrorist attacks and pogroms to scare jews. the way the graph is displayed, it’ll make you believe Muslims built holocausts for the jews they had.

there was also operation Solomon for Ethiopia

Many Jews emmigrated to Israel after WW2 and the graphic would like you to think they were murdered, mainly.

Like, sentiment wasn’t great in those countries before WW2, don’t get me wrong. Pogroms did occur and that’s terrible. But after the establishment of Israel and what Israel then immediately did, all sentiment against Jews in the region is entirely explained by Israels actions and cannot be laid at the feet of those other countries.

Most of the migration was more specifically post-Nakhba than post-WWII.

I do think it’s plainly obvious that several of the countries on the graph were at least very complicit with antisemitism at some point in time, but two of these are French colonies and Mossad was bombing synagogues in Iraq to cause exactly the effect shown here.

Oh yea, I didn’t feel like going into huge detail about the timeline since the end of WW2 and the Nakhba are 2 years apart.

Did they love the Jews in those countries pre that? Nope, absolutely not. Did Jews live there for hundreds of years contiguously in spite of that dislike? Absolutely. Did they kill them all between WW2 and now? Hell no. Which is the misleading part.

Yes, a bit more info: USA and Israel each have roughly 45% of the global Jewish population, the last 10% is split between Iran, China, and Europe. Israel’s population growth was largely dependant on immigration, but that well has nearly completely dried up (the past couple years have seen net emmigration with regards to Europe)

first i feel like i shouldn’t need to say this but what other countries did is not related to palestine and certainly doesn’t give you the right to genocide palestinians.

secondly yes a few countries did expel jewish people (as a reaction to nakba but i digress it was wrong anyway) im not denying that.

third yeah israel did that this is showing the success of the zionist project. this is not a conspiracy they literally paid people and gave them land to migrate to israel, they still do. like make this map for all other countries except united states and you’ll see a similar thing. you can see how manipulative this fucking map is.

this map is implying that all countries expelled the jews because number go down which is simply not the case. absolutely fuck off.
