Probably. All those things sound yum as fuck.
put a little bit of everything on a spoon and make a smoothie in your mouth to see how you like it.
but seriously yogurt + blueberries is good. I don’t know why you’d need the sugar? or what happens if you put sugar in a smoothie? maybe just a little bit but you do you. I would add the lemon slowly to taste. you could overpower the blueberries which would be waste.
edit why is the post labeled NSFW did I wander into some sicko joke?
Non vegan things are marked NSFW here
the smoothie was too good 🥵
Remove the sugar, plenty in the fruits, drizzle a bit of honey for a bit of extra flavor if you’re looking to max your deliciousness. Don’t need it tho
make sure you do the lemon zest, not just the juice. The lemon flavor comes from the zest.
I would do zest and remove the juice. Lemon juice will cause the yoghurt to separate
Edit: apparently this doesn’t happen in all cases? I may be giving wrong advice
I don’t know why you would make a smoothie as opposed to just mixing 'em up and eating them. Generally you only need to make a smoothie to hide vegetables or mix up supplements like protein powder. I say throw some chia seeds on it for some extra nutrition and eat it as is.
If a smoothie is still the goal, freeze the blueberries first and do equal parts fruit and yogurt, add the lemon zest, drizzle in some honey (sugar wouldn’t dissolve easily), and be prepared to thin it out with a little milk til you hit the desired consistency.
Sometimes you just want it in drink form
That’s fair.
Another option for a sweetener if you don’t want to deal with zesting the lemon is to make a lemon syrup with equal parts lemon juice and sugar and then slowly warming it in the microwave to dissolve the sugar, and then using that instead of the honey. You can also add the zest to the sugar for a couple hours to release the oils before adding the juice. It’ll keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge.
I think you replied to the wrong thread
I was following up this part of my previous comment with an alternative to honey or straight sugar:
