For what it is worth I don’t see him ever actually vetoing a parliament decision. Him being able to is basically a technicality and more trouble than it’s actually worth since 1, Labour still have a supermajority within parliament and 2, it’d lead to a constitutional crisis. There is a reason no monarch has actually done it in more than 300 years.
Good change but it doesn’t look like ot’s actually happened yet. Is it certain that Labor can actually do it?
Labour still have an enormous majority, and there’s no reason to think the party would revolt over this - it was a manifesto pledge.
