A couple of boomers set up recurring donations and forgot to cancel them, and then couldn’t get refunds for the automatic donations by the time they realized that they were recurring. So of course the alt-right media sphere has been trying to hype it up into some widespread, massive money-laundering operation.
I don’t think it’s just that. They’re just willfully ignorant that it’s a politically aligned payment processor (and the Republicans have an identical R aligned one called WinRed). And conspiracy brained about literally anything to do with “the left.”
